Dr. Essam Amer along with the team from Al Zahra Hospital, Sharjah, conducted an awareness session for Hamriyah Free Zone Authority employees in March about the prevention of Osteoporosis, a bone disease in which the bone becomes porous and fragile. It often progresses silently without any symptoms until the first fracture occurs. The employees were also provided free medical checkup and tests such as blood pressure, blood sugar, Body Mass Index, and Bone Density Test after the lecture.
