• HFZA at India Steel 2023

The Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) in Sharjah has concluded its successful participation at India Steel 2023, a world-renowned event that spanned three days and brought together leaders, experts, and stakeholders from the steel industry, representing numerous countries through national pavilions featuring major global commercial and manufacturing companies.

At the event, HFZA highlighted the key benefits of setting up a business within the Hamriyah Free Zone, particularly in its industrial manufacturing park, which houses the largest concentration of steel manufacturers in the Middle East and North Africa. The authority also demonstrated its prominent role in both global and regional iron and steel trade, along with its competitive advantages and services that attract investors from across the globe. The Hamriyah Free Zone is home to over 180 companies specializing in manufacturing, welding and mining, using the free zone as a launch pad for their international ventures.

The HFZA delegation headed by Ali Al Jarwan, Deputy Executive Director for Commercial Affairs with Charles Daniel, Commercial Manager; Geomon George, Head of Business Development; and Yuliya Dubina, Sales Executive met visitors from all over the globe who are exploring the UAE market.

The International Exhibition and Conference, held from April 19 to 21, provided an integrated platform to foster the expansion of the iron and steel industry. It showcased the latest new technologies, innovative products, equipment, and tools used in steel production, bringing together leading international experts under one umbrella to exchange views, sign partnerships, find solutions, and develop strategies to shape the future of this industry. The event was a destination for specialists in steel-related industries from all over the world, including the oil and gas sectors, construction, and other light and heavy industries.
