For the seventh year in a row, Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) in Sharjah has won the prominent Superbrands UAE 2023 Award, presented by the prestigious Superbrands Worldwide organisation, which specialises in evaluating and showcasing exceptional brands from around the world.
The award was announced during a ceremony at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dubai. HFZA was chosen from the final list of nominated brands via a vote by the award’s international arbitration council and a poll of over two thousand senior managers and marketing experts, following a detailed practical assessment conducted by the Superbrand council.
HE Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of HFZA, noted that winning the UAE Superbrands award for the seventh year in a row represents a new achievement for the authority, to be added to its long track record of consecutive accomplishments that clearly demonstrate its sustained excellence in offering high-level services.
The free zone, he said, is a prominent and unique destination for company-building, as it provides world-class services that facilitate doing business and is considered one of the most outstanding and dynamic free zones in the Middle East with its sophisticated electronic infrastructure, exceptional legislation, and incentives that make it easy for investors to do business and enhance their competitiveness. The free zone’s commitment to investors and its constant striving for excellence and innovation in service provision have laid the groundwork for regional efforts to boost basic services and initiatives, he said.
As part of the award’s evaluation process, senior executives and marketing managers from the final list of nominated brands were invited to vote on the contending brands via an online poll. Brands that received the highest numbers of votes won the title of best brand.
HFZA has received numerous prestigious national and international accolades in recent years, including several FDI Global Free Zone of the Year awards, the Quality Choice Prize, numerous UAE Strongest Brands awards, various fastest growing free trade zone awards, a number of international business excellence awards, and the award for the UAE’s best government administration service.
